HANDCRAFTED WINDOWS

All our joinery is supplied fully factory spray finished with our unique 4 stage paint process, this needs a single maintenance coat externally just once every 10 – 12 years. We can match almost any desired colour, and a hand painted final coat is available upon request for a more traditional look.

British made multipoint locking mechanisms amongst other features provide the highest levels of security. All our windows are lab tested to pas 24 security, boasting a secured by design police approved system.

The vast majority of our windows are crafted from multi-layered engineered hardwoods and softwoods to ensure a stable product, with no twisting or warping, meaning they function seamlessly all year round. This layering process massively increases strength and longevity, with only the finest sections of timber selected. We also use Accoya timber for more specialist applications. Accoya is a modified Radiata Pine, the process essentially pickles the wood in vinegar, it’s exceptional stability and resistance to decay and rot mean it comes with a 50 years guarantee.  

We only use fit the highest quality hardware to our windows. Many different finishes and handles styles are available for your windows, all hinges and locks are made from stainless steel. Friction hinges are fitted as standard, we can also fit lift off butt hinges with a traditional casement stay or friction arm.

Double or triple glazed units with the highest levels of thermal insulation are internally fitted into all our windows. Internal beading ensures the highest levels of security, we use a unique glazing system to ensure the longest life of the insulated glass units and a secure bond between glass and frame. We can restore and encapsulate original stained glass into triple glazed units, and bespoke ornate glass styles are available upon request. All glass units incorporate Low E glass, with an Argon filled cavity and black warm edge spacers around the unit perimeter.
