Macdonald Joinery was founded by James Macdonald back in 2017 after completing a 6 year joinery apprenticeship. James has since continued to develop vast experience in designing and handcrafting the finest windows and doors with the highest levels of attention to detail.

We supplied a full house of 35 windows and 5 door sets in total to a luxury home developer. Windows featured slim and elegant 18mm Georgian glazing bars fixed into the frame to a custom design.

The original sliding sash windows had been replaced with basic double glazed casements. On a recommendation, we were asked to restore the windows back to their former glory with double glazed box weighted sliding sash windows.

On a recommendation we were asked to manufacture and install large replica bay windows due to the original windows leaking through rotting timber. As the property lies within a conservation area we had to ensure we matched the semi octagonal construction exactly.
