The original sliding sash windows had been replaced with basic double glazed casements. On a recommendation, we were asked to restore the windows back to their former glory with double glazed box weighted sliding sash windows. This included single, double and triple box sash, with some incorporating curved heads in each sash to mirror the ornate stonework above.
The existing garden room was in a poor state of repair with a plastic roof, which wasn’t fitting for such a grand building. We manufactured a new solid oak garden room with engineered oak flush casements and French doors. This incorporated a complex semi Octagonal hipped cut roof with lead mop stick hips and reclaimed slates to match the main building. The garden room was painted externally to match the windows in moss green, and oiled internally to preserve the natural appearance of the oak.
